Jim Wesp
Board President
Jim started volunteering with Franciscan Peacemakers in the 1990s, inspired by his daughters’ hearts for service. It began by bringing high school students to help distribute lunches on Saturday nights in Milwaukee. Since that time he became involved in creating Gifts for the Journey, Clare Community, and serving as a Board Member of Franciscan Peacemakers. Jim and his wife Joanne have 5 adult daughters. Jim is the owner of Kettle Moraine Hardwoods, Inc., and is an active volunteer both in his local parish and with the non-partisan community organizing group Southeastern Wisconsin Common Ground. Jim says that "Working with Franciscan Peacemakers has opened my eyes to some of the worst things that go on in the world of sex trafficking that dehumanizes women. This work also has allowed me to interact with some of the kindest, most caring professionals and volunteers that work tirelessly to eliminate this evil."
