Family Justice Brigade
On a Saturday in August, four families gathered at the Gifts for the Journey workshop to participate in a service project through the Family Justice Brigade! Kids packaged and labeled soaps and candles while parents hit the streets with our Director, Deacon Steve, to learn about our street ministry to women engaged in prostitution as well as to reflect on the larger issues that pervade - sex trafficking, racism, gender based violence, poverty, mental illness and substance addiction. The kids really helped us out - getting our products ready for the busy summer and early fall market season!
